Chapter 3 Section 3 involves the characters being captured and one getting threatened with torture, but she's rescued. Other characters are killed, but those are in the lost chapters. Despite the infamy of its creators, none of what they're infamous FOR makes it into the parts I could find (though Artemis magazine, which hosted the serial prose, is FULL of the goofy "women are two sexes: dommey brunettes and subby blondes" stuff).
