For a cartoon, this show has some grim moments! All seasons involve memory distortion and dehumanization. There's also body horror involving memory harvesting and some pretty chilling death and violence scenes in both Seasons 2 and 3. Season 3 is basically all about the gamification of dehumanization, while Season 2 is all about MT desperately trying to claw her way into personhood, despite everyone and everything telling her no.
