The Unseen Playmate, by Robert Louis Stevenson (poetry, 1913)
"When children are playing alone on the green,
In comes the playmate that never was seen."
Blurb: A short poem about imaginary playmates from a century ago.
Why is it worth your time?: It's short, whimsical, and fun.
