Date: 2026-01-03 07:14 am (UTC)Panel 2: The person, now revealed to be a thin, light-skinned person with short brown hair and a beard and mustache, wearing earrings and a long-sleeve orange shirt over a white shirt and blue jeans, continues to think. “It doesn’t have any launch games I’m interested in… But this would be the first time since I was a kid that I haven’t bought a new console on day one…”
Panel 3: They glance at their shoulder to see a miniature angel appear with puffs of white smoke. The angel, complete with white wings and a halo, looks like a clean-shaven version of them (minus their cowlick) and is wearing gold bangles with a white dress and a rope tied around their waist as a belt. The angel shouts, “Stop! You don’t need to succumb to consumerism! You can always buy one in a year or two!”
Panel 4: The human and the angel look at the other shoulder, on which a miniature devil has appeared with puffs of grey smoke. The devil, who has horns, black bat wings, and a forked tail, looks like a red-skinned, muscular version of them and is wearing nothing but a black harness and thong. They recline, hands folded behind their head. Their dialogue bubbles are black with white writing, the reverse of the other characters’ dialogue and thought bubbles. “Psh, Nintendo? That shit’s for babies. Go buy cigarettes.”
Panel 4: The angel says, “Oh wow, is this the first time we’ve ever agreed on something?” The devil replies, bashful, “I think so…”
Panel 5: The angel touches the ring in the centre of the devil’s harness, saying, “Y’know, I never realized how handsome you are…” The devil touches the angel’s halo, saying, “Your little halo is cute…”
Panel 6: The human’s eyes widen as the devil dips the angel into a kiss, the devil’s hand at the angel’s waist and the angel’s hand at the devil’s neck.
Panel 7: Close-up on the human’s face as they ask, “So should I buy a Switch, orrr”
